Event Details:

Your “Day in the Vineyard” event is to be held at WillaKenzie Estates (19143 NE Laughlin Rd, Yamhill, OR 97148) on Saturday, August 18, 2018  from 10:00am – 5:00pm.

The total price of your Pop & Paint Rotating Painting Party is $1,690. 

Your Rotating Painting Party will consist of one main Painting Instructor providing participants with fun-filled, step-by-step guidance on how to paint the featured image during a mini class session. The Instructor will be painting the image on their blank canvas while all participants will be painting on their canvases.  This will not only provide the participants with verbal guidance but visual guidance as well since each person will be able to see and mimic the instructor’s actions, if needed.  Assisting Instructor(s) will also be walking around to answer any questions that may arise, refill paint, and taking photos of those priceless moments. After each mini-class session, the participants will exit the painting area so that the Instructors can restock supplies before rotating in the next round of participants for another mini class session. 

The price of your event includes the following:

  • Six (6) mini class sessions throughout the day starting on an hourly basis starting at 10:30am. Each session will hold a maximum of fifteen (15) painting participants, but will start on the designated time with as many participants are seated for the session. 
  • All painting materials for a maximum of ninety (90) participants painting at one of the six (6), rotating mini class sessions that day (no more than 15 per session).  Materials include 8x10 canvases, easels, paints, brushes, butcher’s paper to cover tables, and aprons.    
  • An Instructor who will be providing step-by-step painting guidance to each participant.
  • Assisting Instructor(s) who will be answering questions, refilling paint, and taking photos.
  • Design time for the creation of a customized image of the winery that each participant will be learning how to paint.
  • Travel surcharge for location being outside of Portland, OR.
  • Tables and Chairs.  

The price quoted above excludes the following:  

  • Any food or beverages for the participants
  • Event space fee

Additional Notes:    

  1. Pop & Paint will set up approximately 1 hour before the event.  Break down should only take approximately 30 minutes.  
  2. Pop & Paint will be providing all the tables and chairs. 
  3. The location of where Pop & Paint sets up should be able to accommodate the following:
    1. Space needed for a painting class to include five (5) tables and fifteen (15) chairs.  
    2. Ability for all participants to face towards the instructor or at least a 90 degree angle.
    3. Ability for the Painting Instructors to have enough room between tables to walk around and answer individual’s questions.
  4. The first painting session is scheduled to begin at 10:30am on the date stated above. Delays to the painting start time (more than 30 minutes) will result in the forfeit of the first mini painting session. 
  5. Maximum headcount is ninety (90) participants throughout the day.
  6. Location:    WillaKenzie Estates, 19143 NE Laughlin Rd, Yamhill, OR 97148, Specific Location: Outside, TBD space

  8. Floor Type of Room:    Outside, either grass or pavers
  9. Tarps Needed for Event:    NO
  10. Pricing:
    1. Price:    $1,500 (for up to 90 participants)
    2. Travel Surcharge:    Included in price above (location outside of Portland)
    3. Rental Chairs/Tables:    + $140
    4. Event Space Fee:    + $0
    5. Custom Image:    + $50
    6. Final Price:    $1,690

Liability Statement:  Pop & Paint will take reasonable care by advising all painting participants on the use of acrylic paint but is not responsible for any possible damage of clothing or property that may occur during the painting event.  The client takes full responsibility for the safety of their guests during their private painting event. 

Copyright statement: Pop & Paint owns the copyright to the photographs taken by Pop & Paint staff during your event and reserves the right to use them for marketing purposes.

Payment:  I understand that I am required to pay a deposit of $400 with the return of my signed agreement in order to officially reserve the date and time for my private event.  The remaining balance is due on Net 30 from the invoice date.  Both deposit and remaining balance (or payment in full) can be made online by credit card with a private link provided by the Owner of Pop & Paint.  If another payment method is needed, please contact the owner to discuss the details. 

Cancelation Policy:  If for any reason I have to cancel this event, all funds minus the deposit will be refunded.  (Please note that rescheduling and canceling an event are different.  If you should need to reschedule your event to another date, please contact the owner of Pop & Paint immediately.)   

I have read and understood and accept the above liability statement and conditions of this agreement.  By signing this form, I verify that the event details listed above are correct and that I agree to pay the amount listed for this event.  Once I sign this and return this form, my event is officially on Pop & Paint’s calendar.
