Event Details:

Your Private Painting Class for Boeing Commercial Airplanes to be held at The Troutdale House by the Sandy River on Wednesday, April 17th, 2019 from 4:00 – 6:30pm.

The price of your Pop & Paint Private Painting Party will be $1,220 for a group of up to twenty (20) painting participants for the time frame stated above.

Our Puzzle Piece option is an event focused on the idea of individuality and teamwork. We work with you in advance to create a large mural specific to your company or team goals. The final mural stays a secret and is divided up into 8x10 canvases like a giant puzzle. During the event, each team member will be assigned one of the pieces and will spend the class creating their version of the individual piece (with the help of our artists of course). At the end, all employees will work together to assemble the puzzle pieces to determine what the mural looks like. This encourages the team to work together and see how their individual efforts combined to form a larger solution. Afterwards, the finished mural can be put up in your office to remind the team how they are all different, but worked together to create something bigger. The price includes the following:

  • All painting materials for up to twenty (20) participants. Materials include 8x10 canvases, table top easels, paints, brushes, aprons, and step-by-step instructions.

  • Instructors who will provide painting guidance to each participant as well as answer questions, refill paint, and take photos. Since each individual will not be painting the same image, multiple instructors will be needed to make the event run smoothly.

  • Butcher’s paper to cover all table top surfaces and canvas tarps to cover floor.

  • Development of a customized mural image and its “pieces” that each participant is to paint during the event.

  • Travel surcharge for traveling outside of Portland, Oregon

The price quoted above excludes the following:

  • Any food or beverage for the participants

  • Tables and chairs

  • Event space fee

Additional Notes:

  1. Pop & Paint will set up approximately 1 hour before the event. Break down should only take approximately 30 minutes.

  2. Client/Location is providing all tables and chairs.

    1. There should be enough space for participants to sit comfortably at each table with all painting supplies.

    2. So that each individual, their supplies, and snacks/drinks fit comfortably, it is recommended that no more than 4 painting participants sit at each 6’ rectangular table. (For 20 painting participants, 5 tables are recommended. If different size tables are being used, please ask Pop & Paint for their recommendations for seating.)

    3. Layout of tables will of course depend on the room.

    4. One chair per painting participant.

    5. Painting Instructors should have enough room between tables to walk around and answer individual’s questions.

    6. Unless tarps are needed to cover the floors, tables and chairs should already be assembled in the space where Pop & Paint will set up.

  3. This painting event is scheduled to begin at 4:00pm on the date stated above. Delays to the painting start time (more than 10 – 15 minutes) caused by the client that result in the event running later than scheduled, will result in an hourly fee of $50.

  4. Maximum headcount is twenty (20) participants. If fewer than 20 participants attend, some participants may need to paint more than one piece.

    2. Travel Surcharge: +$20 (location is outside of Portland)

    3. Rental Chairs/Tables $0 (using Venue’s tables/chairs)

    4. Event Space Fee $0

    5. Final Price: $1,220

Liability Statement: Pop & Paint will take reasonable care by advising all painting participants on the use of acrylic paint but is not responsible for any possible damage of clothing or property that may occur during the painting event due to the client’s negligence or willful misconduct. The client takes full responsibility for the safety of their guests during their private painting event except to the extent of Pop & Paint’s negligence or willful misconduct during their private painting event.

Payment: I understand that I am required to pay a deposit of $560 with the return of my signed agreement in order to officially reserve the date and time for my private event. The remaining balance is due on or before one week prior to the event. If I schedule my event within one-week of the date of the event, then I understand that a deposit option may not be available and I shall pay for the event in full upon returning the signed agreement. Both deposit and balance (or payment in full) can be made online by credit card with a private link provided by the Owner of Pop & Paint. If another payment method is needed, please contact the owner to discuss the details.

Cancelation Policy: If for any reason I have to cancel this event, all funds minus the deposit will be refunded. (Please note that postponing and canceling an event are different. If you should need to postpone your event to another date, please contact the owner of Pop & Paint immediately.)

I have read and understood and accept the above liability statement and conditions of this agreement. By signing this form, I verify that the event details listed above are correct and that I agree to pay the amount listed for this event. Once I sign this and return this form, my event is officially on Pop & Paint’s calendar.
