Pop & Paint "popped" up at The Daily in the Pearl for a fun, relaxing, evening of painting the day after Christmas.  What better way to spend the evening with friends and family visiting from out of town?  The group painted a beautiful image of The Gorge with instructions provided by Elizabeth Canup.  Thanks to the staff at The Daily who were fantastic!!

Pop & Paint "popped" up at Cerulean Winery for a fun, relaxing Sunday afternoon of painting and sipping delicious wine.  Our small, intimate group painted an amazing image featuring one of Portland's icons - the St. Johns Bridge with a side of wine!  Instructions were provided by our fun-loving artist/instructor,Elizabeth Canup.

Pop & Paint "popped" up at The Daily in the Pearl for a fun, relaxing, evening of painting.  Our group painted a famous Portland icon - the Portland Oregon Old Town Sign where the image was set during the Holiday Season with the red-nosed stag.  Instructions were provided by our local artist, Suzanne Olvey.

Pop & Paint "popped" up at Kiehl's on NW 23rd for a fun and relaxing evening of painting and being pampered.  This was a special event where Kiehl's provided refreshments and facials for all the participants while they were being instructed on how to paint the featured image.  Our group was small and intimate and everyone had a fantastic time.  Instructions were provided by Sondra Stephenson.

Pop & Paint "popped" up at The Daily in the Pearl for a fun, relaxing, evening of painting.  Based on a suggestion we received, our small and intimate group painted a colorful still life image of fruits and vegetables on a table top under a fall tree limb in time for Thanksgiving.  Since it was a small group, everyone received one-on-one Instructions from our local artist, Suzanne Olvey.

Today Pop & Paint "popped" up at Kells Brew Pub for a fun evening of painting and drinking!  Our entertaining group painted a very bright and colorful image of a goal being block by our beloved home team's ax (Go Timbers!).  Instructions were provided by Elizabeth Canup.

Our venue was awesome and the wait staff was unbelievable!  Thanks Kells Brew Pub for allowing us to provide such a creative activity for everyone!  We look forward to doing more at this location!

This painting was designed based off a suggestion we received.  (Yes, we do like receiving suggestions on what you want to paint!  So thank you & keep them coming!)  Instructions were provided by Elizabeth Canup.

Pop & Paint "popped" up at The Daily in the Pearl for our Halloween event which was a ton of fun, yet very relaxing!  We painted a spooky Halloween mask. and each person tweaked and change colors to make it more their own!  Instructions were provided by our very talented Elizabeth Canup.

Pop & Paint "popped" up for the first time on the east side at Pacific Pie Co for a fun, entertaining morning of painting!  What better way to enjoy a bright, sunny, yet chilly day than sitting inside all warm and cozy with some hot tea, flavored soda, mimosas, and some very savory and delicious pies!  We painted our own unique version of "Cloudy with a Chance of ....Pie" to match the theme of our lovely venue!  Who doesn't love pie??  Instructions were provided by our very talented Sondra Stephenson.

Our venue was fantastic and the servers were very sweet and kind.  Our class contained individuals of all ages which made the comments and instructions very fun!  Thank you to everyone who attended this event!

Today Pop & Paint "popped" up in the patio of Taste on 23rd for a fun Saturday afternoon of painting.  We painted an amazing Fall Portland scene from the view of a window with an animal's silhouette in the foreground.   Each individual chose what animal to paint and as you can see by the pictures, there were some pretty creative selections made.  Instructions were provided by Sondra Stephenson.

Today Pop & Paint "popped" up in the patio of Taste on 23rd for a small intimate Sunday afternoon of painting.  We painted a beautiful scene where the sun was setting over the Fremont Bridge with instructions provided Suzanne Olvey.

Everyone had a great time painting, socializing, laughing, and enjoy the sun while we still can before Fall fully sets in for the year!

Tonight Pop & Paint "popped" up at The Huckleberry Pub to paint another fun Portland event known as the Farmer's Market with instructions provided by Sondra Stephenson.  This painting featured famous huckleberries being sold at the Farmer's Market; however, some participants decided to be creative and  sell colorful flowers instead.

Every participant had a blast being creative while hanging out and socialize with friends and family.  Take a look through the photos and you'll be amazed at all of the wonderful paintings everyone created tonight.

Tonight Pop & Paint "popped" up at Taste on 23rd to paint a Portland icon known as St. John's Bridge with instructions provided by Liz Canup.  We had a full house tonight, which included some very talented kids.  We were very grateful that the weather held out so that we could enjoy another summertime evening in the patio!

Every participant had a blast being creative and as you can see by the photos there were some very creative painters in this group!  Everyone had a fantastic time and walked away with their own piece of art!

Tonight Pop & Paint "popped" up at The Huckleberry Pub for a late night painting event.  We painted an abstract image featuring Huckleberries coming to Portland with instructions provided by Liz Canup.  

This is the first of a three part series at The Huckleberry Pub in August.  The next painting, "Picking Huckleberries" will be taking place next week on Thursday, August 22, 2013.

The photos in this album are unique due to lighting and flash issues with my camera but you get the overall idea that the participants had a fantastic time and each painting is so different but great!

Tonight Pop & Paint "popped" up at The Daily in the Pearl to paint an Abstract Portal with instructions provided by Liz Canup.  We had a full house hoping to paint outside but the weather just didn't cooperate with us.  We made the last minute decision to move inside to the beautiful decor so everyone could keep dry.  The Daily extended their happy hour only for Pop & Paint participants and everyone loved the food and drinks as you can tell by the photos.

The photos turned out wonderful; however, there are some towards the end of the class that involved lights and flashes that turned out weird but somewhat had a cool effect!    

Everyone had a fantastic time and walked away with a piece of art that they created themselves!

Tonight the class painted Mount St. Helens at Taste on 23rd Wine Bar.  We were outside in their patio area enjoying the summer weather, cold beverages/snacks, and painting instructions provided by Suzanne Olvey.    

Everyone had a fantastic time.  They were all amazed at how each person put their own creative touch into their painting.  Some even had very creative imaginations that made Mount St. Helens explode in their painting!  But in the end, everyone walked away with a piece of art that they created themselves!
